The only noise was from the planes taking off but this is to be expected and after a while we became used to this. The staff were helpful and friendly, our rooms were upgraded which wasn’t expected but close together as requested. The breakfast was exceptional and great value. Would totally recommend if you’re planning a stay in London with children, but would prefer to retreat to a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle. We’d book here again next time.

Road outside is residential, quiet and felt safe to walk around. The room had a good vibe; decor hit a good spot between classic to go with the hotel's Victorian origins and a few newer vintage pieces. Felt very relaxing. Bathroom was top notch. Nice selection of tea and toiletries. TV worked. Hotel has an inviting bar and served a great breakfast.

There were plenty of shops pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walk. I honestly cant fault the quality of the accommodation. The purpose of our visit was the Chelsea Flower show and Kew Gardens. It was 20 mins on the train to Chelsea and 10 minutes walk to Kew.
