Very good venue - to see it all would take days.

Very good venue - to see it all would take days. Best advice is to pick a section and really look at it - gives you an excuse for a return trip to Edinburgh to see another bit of the museum, along with all the other atractions.

    Do not miss this place!

Do not miss this place! It is huge and we could have spent all day there. An incredibly beautiful building. It was quite overwhelming at first to know where to start as there isn’t a route as such to follow. It was very busy and crowded in some areas and empty in others. Impossible to sit down in the cafe as it was so busy but there are lots of seats fitted around if you need a break. We almost missed it but there is a roof terrace which is well worth a visit with super views of the city. And it’s free!!!! But there are donation stations for making your own choice of what to give. A duper super place!!
