We expected more from Oxford Castle guided tour.

We expected more from Oxford Castle guided tour. The tower can only be accessed via a 100+ steep and uneven spiral staircase, so not good for anyone with disabilities and the mott was closed off. Which left a few cells, the cript and a gallery on the tour. The guides did a good job, but with no concession for over 65,s the entry price seemed expensive.

Super for young and old alike. Fascinating history.

Super for young and old alike. Fascinating history. Good shop including smaller items for a child's purse. Good cafe outside for a hot drink on a cold day, an ice cream on a hot day and toilets for any day.
