Busy shopping street. All the chain stores and department stores you could ever want. Tip avoid Oxford Circis tube at rush hour morning and evening. Explore side streets for somz interesting non chain shopping.
Don't get caught short. Lived here for many years so know all the best public restroom spots. - Do Not Use the street toilet cubical things.! Please. - Avoid coffee shops toilet. Usually only 1 or two toilets. Heavy used. Never clean. - John Lewis have toilet on nearly every floor. There clean. - - Marks and Spencer both ends of Oxford Street are good. - Topshops ladies toilet are ok, located on the lower ground floor. Usually a que. Only 2-3 cubicals for such are large store. I'm not werid. Just have a small bladder....
Disappointing. All shops are either full of cheap and nasty stuff or the prices are hiked up really expensive on stuff you know you can get in normal towns for a fraction of the price (and then marked down in the so-called sale to what is still more than the normal price should be). Won't be going again. I don't mind if something is actually worth the price, but I don't like being ripped off.
Start from Marble Arch, visit Selfridges, Russell and Bromley for shoe lovers. Lots of Department stores on both sides of Oxford Street. Have lunch in the wide variety of restaurants namely Italian. Walk to Tottenham Court Road.
Great for shopping and seeing different building. As it’s the main and most famous shopping street in London be prepared for loads of people as at time it can get overcrowded on the streets but once’s inside the shops it’s fine.
Great shopping , it’s busy so if you hate crowds ... avoid it !! ... although there are plenty of good pubs just off the main road ... just head down any side streets!!... most are real pubs with plenty of atmosphere.

The hotel is literally a minutes walk for the tube but it is also a nice walking distance to Oxford Street down Great Portland Street and right on the corner of Regent Park. The Breakfast was very good quality with a lot of choice and i think that it always shows a bit more class when they have a station cooking fresh eggs. We had an upgraded room that was a nice size and in general the whole hotel was very clean with nice pleasant staff. They have one of the best bar areas i have been in, in London.

The hotel is perfectly located in front of the Hydepark and at the corner of the Oxford street. Although the hotel was under renovation yet that did not impact our stay. The room was on the second floor and we did not face any issues relevant to the lifts despite the increasing complaints during the same period. The staff at the concierge were extra helpful with the luggage, taxi, and train bookings. Very smooth check-in and checkout. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely return.

The hotel is located in the nice quite business area, near the shopping mall and underground station. We prefer this location rather than overcrowded city centre (e.g. Oxford street). The rooms were bigger than expected, the hotel is new and modern. The view from the 17th floor was great. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful, including our request for a taxi to be ordered for 3.00 am at Christmas night. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Breakfast was a good spread. Room was spacious. I would say it’s like between a 4 to 5 star hotel. Angel station can be reached walking in 5minutes. King cross 20minutes wall away. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel that has buses going to oxford street also. Big supermarket 5mins walk away, some decent restaurants, halal kebabs, dominos within 5min. Marks & Spencer’s, Starbucks are around the area too.

We were offered a glass of prosecco at check in, which was nice. We were going to a party in London, so we really only wanted somewhere to stay over, we didn't use the restaurant, the hotel was very well located really close to Oxford Street.

The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. It was absolute luxury compared to the hostels I had been staying in through Europe. The location was fantastic, close to Oxford Street and tube stastions, lots of bars and restaurants

Nice quiet hotel, best location minutes from oxford street and west end
If you want to do some shopping, but want to avoid the crowds, you should stay away from Oxford Street and Portobelle Road on Saturdays. Take a trip to some of the boroughs outside the city's centre and discover the local atmosphere. Ask someone in a shop or the staff at your hotel, if you need a few suggestions for a good day out away from the crowds. I usually ask them where they go for a day out.
you have all kinds if shopping from all the big chain stores found on oxford street to the markets and vintage stalls in camden town, also carnaby street for a something a little bit different
Plan your trip and staying in details. Do a little research what are the busiest times/days. Skip using tube/buses unless you really have to. Avoid the busiest shopping/tourist areas (there is much more to London than Oxford Street and Trafalgar Square).
Close to major shopping areas like Covent Garden,Regent Street and Oxford Street
Shop anywhere except Oxford Street as there is a heaving mass of humanity.
You can find a lot of various useful things for every taste and purse all-over London and especially at the Oxford street of course
