The Port is a quaint hotel located on Main Street in Portrush. It is family-run and has a welcoming, traditional atmosphere. Ownership and staff couldn’t be any friendlier.
I wasn't able to get on the Dunluce course where they played the British Open, as it was booked up way in advance, but I was able to play the other course right next door called The Valley course. It was a fine links course at less than half the cost of the Dunluce course.
The condo was beautifully appointed, and the view spectacular. View to the Royal Portrush golf course (The Open 2019) and the "scareys " islands. Everything was brand new. Very clean. I thought that modern ment cold, but here it was warm, comfy and inviting. Great place for golfer's ! I would go back tomorrow if I could. Best in northern Ireland !
