Loved everything - so spacious and really feels luxurious. Booked two rooms, one with river views and the second for teenage son. Son’s room was upgraded at no extra cost, a lovely touch. Loved the walk in wardrobes in both rooms. Breakfast was superb.

Spinningfields

If you're a little more experienced with flippers on your feet and an air tank on your back, Ras Nasrani has some great diving. While there's still a lot of opportunities for underwater adventures in its shallower areas, a nearly 200-foot drop just beyond them opens up a whole new world of exploration with overhangs and sea caves. It's also one of the best places around Sharm El Sheikh to spot the sea slug known as the Spanish dancer that flaps through the water in an elegant underwater ballet.

    What a transformation.

What a transformation. Great to walk round with its new cafes everywhere but retaining and improving access to the forgotten river. You can even walk across new bridges to another up and coming city-Salford.
