Great place to stay-being English I thought I might get some trouble but the people were amazingly friendly especially in The Bogside pub and the murals were amazing around the city and the views from the city walls into the area were brilliant-certainly won’t be the last time I visit the Bogside/Derry
I am familiar with the significance of the various murals and just wanted to visit them.If you are not familiar with the history of Derry its worth getting a Tour of the Bogside and visiting the Free Derry Museum.
An area that is as it was all these years ago, great murals in fact book a guide and listen to someone that knows and can relate to you how it was. We visited the "Bogside Inn" a few times a great " drinking pub" we also visited "Jacks Bar" which served great food, once again the friendliest of staff that seem to want you in their premises plus fantastic Guinness.
Awesome BNB. We booked about 20 minutes before arriving and were welcomed by name! Lovely hosts, spotless room, bathroom, and food area. Great local tips and home is right in the bogside neighborhood- 5 minutes to the city center and walls as well as murals. We’re so happy we found this gem!
