Liverpool was a surprise. It has a good vibe, and there is plenty to see and do. The trip on the ferry was excellent though the weather helped. The water front is lovely. I did the Beatles tour, and the Liverpool wheel. I visited some recent veggie cafes too, the Egg cafe and the Vibe. I would of liked to of gone to more markets , the vintage market but didn't have time. I probably could've staged two nights instead of one.Guest review byS - 10.0

Liverpool is a vibrant city with a great mix of history, culture and architecture. The people are so friendly and welcoming. So much to see and do and it’s not all about The Beatles. You definitely need more than a couple of nights to get the most out of your visit. Great for live music. Lovely waterfront. Good choice of restaurants. Easy to get about on foot but also great public transport and good availability of taxis. Both Anglican and catholic cathedrals are worth a visit. The cavern club is a must see. A real eye opener, I didn't really know what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised. The city was clean and felt very safe. Lots of things to see and do, the waterfront is always busy with shipping plying up and down the river. So much to see, so much to do.
So much to see, so much to do. Great shopping and great to tour too. Hop on a yellow Liverpool tour bus, fantastic way to get orientated as to where things are. You can also hop on and off the tour bus to see some of the sites and the ticket lasts you all day! The docks are amazing. Again, lots to see and do. Have a boat trip on the Mersea, visit a museum, walk along the promenade and into the docks and enjoy great food at one of the many restaurants and cafes at Albert docks. I stayed at the Holiday inn express, Albert docs... great stay and walking distance to Liverpool one! I will definitely stay again.Guest review byMichelleUnited Kingdom - 10.0
