This venue was very busy when we went there. A little disappointed as there was a lot of overlapping noises- loudspeakers would be broadcasting a character talking while you were trying to listen to something else on display- also there was no footsteps or guidance on which way to go which made the crowds bunch up in one place
This tour doesn't take long, but is fascinating and full of history. The museum is not only about the ship itself, but about the lives of the people who built it, giving information about the early linen industry to the employment of local people in various aspects of the building of many ships including the Titanic. See the slip where the Titanic was first launched from the big picture window along with a matching diorama that shows the area during the time of the launch. Nearby is the HMS Caroline battleship, and if you're wanting to discover your Irish heritage, the Public Records of Northern Ireland (PRONI) is right across the street for your genealogical/family history study pleasure.
Mostra molto grande e a nostro avviso dispersiva.
Didn't really get much of a feel for the opulence or grandeur of the ship more replicas of rooms would have been good. More about the items recovered would have nice. Lots to read about but the number of people made this difficult. The space didn't flow. A visit to the Nomadic is a must as this does give a very good feel of the time and lots of interesting interactive displays!
A museum full of galleries and computers with screens you can touch and move pictures around...just a massive let down. The SS Nomadic was the only real experience you get of it all. Even the suites that were recreated were in a glass box so you couldn't even see them properly
Good, but there is a lot of information to take in. Much of the written information is quite small and very poorly lit, so you need to stand up close to read which is impossible when it is crowded. We had the headsets, it would have been even more confusing if we hadn’t. Overall we found the set out to be confusing and the display numbers on the headsets were so small we could not read them on the screen.

We booked this hotel last minute - while driving into Belfast. The location is excellent! You can walk to museums, restaurants and shopping. Close to Titanic Belfast. Parking onsite and secure. There is a restaurant and bar next to the lobby which comes in handy when you are too tired to go looking for a restaurant. The food is basic but good. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was clean - not fancy but on par with other holiday inns. We enjoyed our 2 night stay.
