The architecture and history there were amazing, but be prepared to walk a lot of hills and steps. We enjoyed seeing the crown jewels and were lucky there wasn't too much of a queue to get in to see them. We are older and a bit out of shape, so we found the steps and hills to be a little much for us so we did not see it all, but what we did see was very impressive.

This attraction was as historic and interesting than Westminster Abbey, as it was built around the same time. It is highly under rated - very interesting, from the inclusion of the original Roman wall around London to the tour by the Yoeman Warders to the hangings and executions outside on the hill. Essentially next to the Tower bridge (hence the bridge name), it's a must stop for all ages.

We only went to the Ceremony of the Keys on this trip, but that was very informative and something everyone should try and do at some stage in their lifetime. The guard we had on the evening of 14th December was fabulous and entertained us all with his vast knowledge and anecdotes.

The ravens landed right next to me while waiting to go into the white tower. So much to see and do. Make sure to see the Crown Jewels the wait is worth it! Read up on its history before hand so that you get the full experience. Just amazing. They literally kept lions!

This place is awesome & a splendour to look at & walk through. However, I don't recommend going through it in summer, even during a pandemic. The line to the crown jewels, if spread out straight, would've been about a mile long. It gets exceptionally busy & if you don't book the audio guide you won't get one, which I didn't know about this time I went. Otherwise this is definitely somewhere to go. Some of this place dates back to the 12th Century! Brilliant!!

Lots of tourists. come early and plan sufficient time to tour the Tower. join the Beefeater for a 'guided' tour of the Tower, they provide a lot of information that is not listed in the guide book

Very new hotel so very clean and fancy. Great location. Walking distance to Tower of London where we picked up the hop on hop off tour buses. Also very close to Aldgate tube station with easy access to tourist sites. Grocery and restaurants right outside. They even let us check in a few hours early. of the We expected two twin size beds but got 2 full size/double size beds. Very relaxing.

The view is great! It was a small room, but no less than what we needed for the night. It was nice that they had a restaurant onsite. I am also grateful they stored our luggage while we waited for our room to be ready. This allowed us to go ahead and check out the Tower of London.

In this area of London, almost every step you take along the Thames river gives you a feeling for Charles Dickens characters, but you must go by foot get around the back streets and explore. Despite the new high rise buildings there are still many old houses and warehouses that evoke a sense of history. Within a 20/30 minute walk, you can get to Tower bridge, St Paul's Cathedral the modern Tait gallery, the London eye and the houses of Parliament. You won't get bored.
