This is the main gate - just outside is the starting/ending...
This is the main gate - just outside is the starting/ending point for many of the city's bus routes so it all happens here. The downside is that it is also very busy. You access the walls to walk around from this gate entrance (on you left as you come into the city)

Pile gate very nice, unfortunately there is an unpleasant smell all day - most likely because of the sewage system. At the gate there is a stop for all city bus lines and probably some suburban lines.

Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, from the excellent breakfasts to helping get us oriented to Dubrovnik to providing us rain ponchos. They even helped us get to the hotel after a late arrival at the airport. Our room was lovely and spacious, and despite convenient proximity, it was very quiet.

We would definitely book this property again and recommend it to our friends and family if they ever plan to visit Dubrovnik.

Far enough away from the crowds, but close enough to be in a bar or restaurant in 5 minutes. Great places to get breakfast close by. Small supermarket and takeaway pizza a short walk away. The apartment is small but clean, modern, and quite stylish. Everything worked perfectly - good shower.
