Location was bliss, in the chaos of Kuta lies Poppies sanctuary. Close to good food, beach and the hustle & bustle, but a great place to retreat to after a day out. Loved our accommodation, the villas and outdoor bathroom.

We had a wonderful time at Platinum Hotel Jimbaran. The breakfasts were excellent with a wide choice of delicious food. The location is perfect, close to the beach and easy to reach from the airport. The hotel has a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The pool is beautiful, and there’s also a second pool surrounded by green plants in the inner courtyard — very peaceful and nice. There’s a kids’ playroom too, which was great for our family. The food at the restaurant was tasty, and the staff were friendly and always helpful. Our room was fresh and clean, with a beautiful view — just a really nice and comfortable place to stay. Housekeeping cleaned every day, and everything was always neat and tidy. Highly recommended!

Jimbaran Fish Market

Often, the best way to experience a seaside paradise is with a visit to a fish market. Set the alarm clocks and head down at daybreak to see vendors lay out colourful arrays of seafood. As the morning progresses, the air fills with the busy cries of competing vendors. Once you’ve scouted the wares, you can buy breakfast – and have it cooked for you too.
