Po ark was great. It was the first time taking the train to it, great access from platform however it could use a gift shop at that end of the park. We walked all the way around & back to the train exit just to turn around again & rush to the shop for a momento. We were exhausted & nearly locked in, disappointing end to a great day
I didn't visit the wildlife park itself, but next to the park there is a small garden castle and that was really nice to do. Since everyone goes to the park, it's a nice place to do some calm walking.
We were in Cork to meet my parents on a cruise ship to have a few hours together. There is a train from Cobh (where they docked) direct to Fota. Since we were four generations together it was doable and enjoyable for all!
Very disappointed nothing only walking around couple small play areas nothing for kids over 7. Shop small and I'll equipped..food area dirty Dublin zoo far better..plenty eating areas..play areas all ages,,when kids get board walking around,
This is Cork's wildest attraction. The park ist specialised on species in danger. the Park is subject to constant changes. They use to have an open fence concept. This had to be given up due to hostong more wild animals like lions, tigers and cheetas.
Have been here several times and love it just as much every single visit. Highly recommend everyone to take a trip here. Kids will love it, as well as the animals, there are fantastic play facilities for children. Adults will love the beautiful walkways, and everyone will love the animals. The restaurant and gift shop are great also.
