Grafton Street

The Gardens are three conveniently-located dive sites that offer all the experiences and ecosystems that make a trip under the waves so captivating. The sand-covered plateaus of the Near Garden are great for seeing bottom-dwelling sea life, and the Far Garden is the place to be if you want to swim past the coral reef's endless colors and creatures. The Middle Garden is a combination of the two and provides an excellent jumping-off point (pun intended!) for those new to the wonders of scuba diving.

Lots of higher end shops which are starting to replicate any UK city with the same brands now appearing. The buskers are still there which makes the visit to Grafton Street more special with talented artists performing most days.

This was a great place to stay in Dublin. The room was a nice size and the bed was comfortable. It’s and easy walk to the beautiful St Stephen’s Green, the Hop-on Hop-off tour buses, restaurants, Grafton Street and the Temple Bar area. Staff were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was a great spread with more than enough options, very attentive staff and we loved that they left the pot of coffee on the table.

The workers at Albany Guest House are key. They are pleasant, hardworking and aiming to please. The hotel’s location is good too, a short walk to St. Stephen’s Green and Grafton Street.

Starting with the staff, all were wonderful! Very willing to help us however they could. Complementary breakfast was outstanding! We had one of the smaller rooms, so it was a little tight, but the bed was comfy and the bathroom was big with a good sized shower by Irish standards. Location was great, right on St Stephen's Green and 5 minute walk to Grafton Street.

    - You're a 10-15 minute walk to the Temple Bar area, and ~20 minutes to Grafton Street, ~25 to the GPO but close to St. Patrick's and there are plenty of quality restaurants/pubs around. - Our rooms were nothing sexy but the beds were comfortable, good curtains, showers were functional and had plenty of toiletries. Rooms are very compact so, not a lot of free space. - We did not eat any breakfast there or use any other offerings, but staff was courteous in our only short interactions
