It is a spectacular place to visit; it has good guides and i well maintained. Near the car park, Granny’s Kitchen is run by a charming lady. She has good snacks ; we were pleased to have gone to Cahir as she suggested.

A fine example of medieval Irish castle, though in ruins.

A fine example of medieval Irish castle, though in ruins. The chapel is especially worth a look. And the Sheela-na-gig is located on the corner of the outside wall of the old rectory, which is now the museum. You have to look over the retaining wall to one side of the rectory to see it.

Seems cliche to recommend a "tourist attraction", but this is truly an experience. Living history from a thousand years ago and imagining life at that time is truly fascinating. And seeing the Ireland countryside on the journey is a bonus.

Great location with a view of Rock of Cashel. Fully equipped kitchen, cozy living area and comfortable beds. We as dumb Americans could not understand the directions for turning in the upstairs hot water. Shelagh kindly came in person to instruct us. Not a criticism, but please be aware that the stairs might be a challenge if you have mobility issues.

The hostess Veronica is very friendly, social and helpful with suggestions on where to find local trad music and eat. The mansion renovation is brand new and the view of the Rock of Cashel Castle is breathtaking by day and night from the Hill where the bnb sits. The castle is lit at night and it inspires the splendilatude of staying next to the lit Colosseum in Rome at night. The feeling is one of living at its best. Easy access by lockbox and kitchen as well as living room available and easy checkout.

We loved having a whole house for our family. Being able to cook and make food was easy and convenient. It was a charming home, conveniently located within walking distance to pubs, restaurants, and a grocery store. We also loved we could see Rock of Cashel from the bedroom window!

Location is very convenient to downtown restaurants and pubs, within walking distance. Safe secure parking onsite. Host was very responsive despite my booking the room later in the evening. Apartment is nicely furnished and quite comfortable for a family as well as a solo traveler. It would make a good base of exploration for the Rock of Cashel and surrounding area.

Well located in town & within walking distance to the Rock of Cashel. The underground garage is very near & convenient. We can take elevator to the room from the ground floor - so no problems with heavy luggage. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant & bar which seems to be a popular place in town. They called us in room to let us know when our table is available (because we didn’t make a reservation).

Patrick was an incredible host and very friendly/open. Any questions or concerns were addressed and he also provided information on the city and Rock of Cashel. Hotel location and rooms were worth the price alone. The breakfast and hospitality made it even more worthwhile. 2-3 minute walk to Rock of Cashel from hotel. Navigating to the hotel within Cashel is also quite accessible (first time rental car driver in Ireland). Parking included and dietary preferences for breakfast were available (i.e. vegetarian options).

Located near downtown Cashel which is a lovely and quiet little town, a short walk from Rock of Cashel. Grounds are spacious and beautiful--wish we had more time to hang out. Lounge stocked with coffee/tea and snacks by owner was a nice touch. Feels more like a hotel than a B&B-both room and bathroom were huge!
