+ Located in a very elegant and calm sestiere of Venice - Dorsoduro, a couple of minutes from Accademia stop of vaporetti. + It's a charming villa with a historical feel which has a lovely garden (therefore, especially recommended for stays in summer/spring/autumn) + My single room was tiny but very practical (a safety-box, a mini-bar, a kettle, wifi worked well). Comfortable bed. The view was great: you could even see a little part of Canal Grande. + Tasty varied breakfast + Friendly staff + The price is Venetian but reasonable. Recommended!

Such a welcoming environment, with excellent service and the cleanliness was especially pleasing. The hotel is close to all landmarks one might want to see. Absolutely worth the price and would absolutely recommend to someone looking to visit Venezia.

It’s old, quaint. Classic place to stay in a city like Venice. Ray Charles stayed there and said it was great. I agree.

We booked a family suite for my parents and me. The room was perfect with two beds and two bathrooms spread between two floors. The staff has been really kind and helpful. The location is easy to access from train station and very quiet. It’s 5mins walk from the galleria academia and 20mins walk / public transport to San Marco.
