The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Special thanks to Sir Jalel, Allen and Houssem. The room was spotless and comfortable especially with a bidet in the toilet 😁 The location was so lively a lot of restaurants and bar. It's just a walking distance to colleseum. Overall I highly recommend this hotel for your next adventure.

Good central location. Very close walk to Termini but the street it’s located on is pretty clean. You walk up to the 4th floor of the building and it’s all been redone. Very very nice hotel. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous and coffee/water available 24 hrs was awesome. Rooms are clean. Junior suite was smaller than I thought but all rooms in Rome are. I would totally stay here again.

The Colosseum

The fights! The glory! This iconic arena specialized in gory ends. Built in the 1st century, it held up to 80,000 spectators who came to witness gladiatorial combat and bloody reenactments of naval battles. When you look up at the stands, it doesn’t take much imagination to hear the deafening roar of the crowds or to picture the fierceness on display.

North end accessible for parking a motorcycle but stop near Constantino’s arch and soldiers will attack you!! Then direct one to parking 6 miles away!!!! So go past and pull up the far side of the road where they can’t get at you so easily!

In my opinion it is highly overrated.

In my opinion it is highly overrated. On the outside it looks impressive, but once you're in - it's just a ruin. There are other Roman arenas that still function - operas, theatre, concert halls (like Verona or Pula) - this one is just a walkthrough. Sad, really.

It's a beautiful place and if you have access to multiple places, I would recommend booking at least half a day, because it's not exactly small. If you only have access to the arena, then 30 minutes is enough. Entry is at a specific time (there's no point in getting there earlier) - they really strictly let you in at a specific time. Toilets are available inside (unless you have bought a ticket for just the arena).

This was a bit of a disappointment.

This was a bit of a disappointment. We bought a guided tour but it was so crowded that we had to wait in line for a long time before even entering the site. And when we got in, there were so many people it was tough to hear our guide. Still, if we didn't have a guide, I'm sure it would have been much worse.

Awesome location, right across the street from the Colosseum! The host was very friendly and met us at the apartment to show us everything. The place was amazing, high ceiling with floor to ceiling windows, 3 bedrooms, living area, dining room & full kitchen. We will definitely love to stay here again!

It is a very nice and modern apartment in a very good area, only 4-5 minutes walk to the colosseum. There are many nice restaurants in the area, the apartment is very spacious, each bedroom its own bathroom, which is very convenient. I would definitely return here. It is located on the ground floor of the building (there are only 6-7 steps).

The hotel was only one block away from the Colosseum and was in a very lively area of the city. It was surrounded by several amazing restaurants and gelaterias. The staff was amazing - our initial host was the daughter of the owners and was very kind, helpful and informative about the many attractions in Rome. The other staff weee fantastic, cheery and helpful as well. All around a great experience.

We had an amazing stay at this apartment in the Monti district of Rome! The place was perfectly equipped with all the furniture and appliances you could possibly need to enjoy a Roman holiday in the Eternal City with a group of friends. The location couldn’t be better – all the main tourist attractions are within walking distance, with the Colosseum only a 5-minute walk away. Our host, Claudia, was absolutely wonderful – always ready to help and full of excellent recommendations. Highly recommended!

The property was within walking distance from the colosseum and other sites that I wanted to see. Also had a ton of food and shopping close by. I felt safe and the room was clean. The staff was excellent, breakfast was excellent and they had a taxi service. This is a cute hotel to stay at. It’s older, so keep that in mind. But great for a few nights in Rome.

The apartment was charming and an ode to Rome's iconic locations and its history. It was very spacious, with large rooms and plenty of space. It was very conveniently located near the Colosseum and the surrounding area. It was amazing to walk a block and see the colosseum revealed before you. Giorgio was very responsive to questions, requests, and needs, though we never met in person.

Beautiful, spacious apartment with stunning views of the Colosseum and Typewriter. The apartment had live plants all over! It was so lovely to be surrounded by them. The building itself was quiet, but as you’re central to the heart of Rome, the streets are noisy. (But that’s the city vibe). The bed and sofa were comfortable and the kitchen was huge, with all the amenities you’d need for a comfortable stay.
