Hotels near Marina di Puolo, Massa Lubrense

You can take a boat from Marina di Puolo to Capri and back. We were there in September, the 10:00 am boat got booked early, about 30 max boat capacity. We took the 8:00 am boat. They picked us up at the hotel at 7:45am , we were delivered at Marina Grande at Capri and was given 3 hours to explore the island on our own. We took the train to the top of the island at Piazza Picola, we walked to the end of the walk at Faraglione, stop for photos then walked back then took the bus from Piazza picola to Anacapri , another location on the island , higher than Capri (Greek origin Anocapri=higher Capri). We visited Villa Saint Michel then walked back to the piazza center of Anacapri. From there we took a taxi back to Marina Grande to have lunch at a restaurant on the waterfront then caught the boat to go back to Massa Lubrense. The boat people gave us a Slow moving circumnavigating around Capri, visiting all the sites, grottos then back to The Marina at Massa Lubrense, then drove us back to our hotel, Hotel Central Park, Massa Lubrense. We think going to Capri from Massa Lubrense from Marina di luppoli is a good alternative to going to Capri from Napoli or Sorrento. If you have time, you can spend one or two nights in a hotel on Capri Island so you can enjoy the island better.

It is a lovely little bay with small shingle beach.we asked transfer to take us as near to hotel as possible,when we were dropped off we had a long very way to walk down a long and winding steep road.we found out from hotel ther was a car park next to their hotel were they should of brought us..Wish we had booked hotels shuttle which wasnt that much dearer.
