We stayed at rifugio Sapienza specifically to climb Mt Etna. Our room was lovely, comfortable and you could tell it catered for tourists well. It had a great vibe and was well set up with food areas, toilets, car parking and information spots. We were very pleased to have stayed there as.our tour was so close to our accommodation, but it was just a great place to be.

The only hotel at an altitude of 2000 metres in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Etna Regional Park, Hotel Corsaro is 300 metres from the cable way and meeting point for excursions to the crater.
