Like most of the squares in this beautiful city good restaurants and bars, mix with the history of Florence. Nice setting for an evening meal with a backdrop of the Palazzo Vecchio. You will find yourself drifting back in time especially if like me you have watched Medici.

You most visit Palacio Vecchio and see the piazza from the tower. See the perfect statues at the loggia and the replica of the David and other monuments. Walk through the Uffizi Gallery hall to the river side and see the Ponte Vecchio. Perfect day at FLorence.

This is a nice spot for people- watching as you sip your drink from the nearby cafe. Be warned that the cafes in the area are pretty expensive. It gets really crowded too which can be pretty annoying, especially when you are trying to take pictures.

The place to hang out with (fake) David, fountains, outdoor sculpture court, music, food, people, photo ops. Tower is $12.50 to go up, so we climbed up hill to Piazza de Michelangelo to see bronze David and get amazing free views of Florence instead.

Larger than I envisioned it.
Larger than I envisioned it.
Do not order food from Piazza cafes/restaurants. If you want to rest and take it all in, stick to drinks only. Expensive and not the best food. Also watch out for horse pee.

This is a great place in the city to not only visit the central buildings like Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi, but it's also a nice place to sit and enjoy some gelato or a panino. You can sit in the entirety of the area where the sculptures are, but can only have food if you sit on the bottom portion

We stayed in one-bedroom for 3 nights. Our unit was very clean and equipped with everything you need. The location was perfect. Right behind the Piazza della Signoria on Via della Condotta. There is a pharmacy right across, a plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. There is Caffe Perseo around the corner. Uffizi Museum and Santa Maria Cathedral are all within 5-min walk. And there is a bus station right at entrance of the apartment. And our host, Arta, was very helpful. She was very responsive. This will be our place in Florence.
The location of the apartment was close to everything we wanted to do in Firenze including the Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio. The apartment itself was wonderful with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a full kitchen - everything a family needs.
Breakfast at Rivoire was so lovely! Daily WhatsApp messages with attraction and restaurant recommendations were so appreciated. The location steps away from Piazza della Signoria was perfect!
We loved the accommodations, which overlooked Piazza Della Signoria. You can see all of the activities going on in the square, including free musical performances from the apartment.
It was centrally located, which made it easy to dine and shop. It was close to Uffizzi and Ponte Vecchio.
The hotel and staff were wonderful from start to finish.
The central location, a few steps from Piazza della Signoria was convenient with good access to many of Florence’s attractions. Thoroughly enjoyed that aspect of the property. The unit was clean and bright with good wifi access.
The staff here are so friendly and accommodating you feel like family. The room was big...the bed was super comfortable...the breakfast was served in the most delightful room with a view of Piazza della Signoria. There was a self serve bar available 24/7 and plenty of free cold water bottles to take on your travels around Firenze. My room had a sunken whirlpool bathtub....amazing! And I won't forget to mention the fabulous location in the piazza.
This was my best stay in Europe in entire 3 weeks. It has the most amazing location (right next to Porcellano fountain, leather market and Piazza della Signoria) with the most wonderful hosts. They were very humble, understanding and friendly. I don't think it could have been better than this. Bonus point - there's Venchi right downstairs! (for all Gelato lovers)
