The breakfast is great with an open buffet. Location is good, just a 10mins walking distance from Trastevere, but not in it. It is jsut next to the botanical garden so you wake up with beatiful sounds of birds in the mor So it is a quite place as well. Room size was adequate and room was decent and spacious. The architecture of the facility is unique and you feel it is a nice project at every point of the hotel. There is a nice restaurant for the breakfast at the roof of the building and reception is 24 hours open. They also arranged our travel for the airport without a single problem occurring. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, we had our baby's birthday on our last day and they even made a surprise in the breakfast. They have bene very helpful about everything. The best restaurants we have been in Rome, have been the ones they suggested. We would definitely come again to this hotel in our next visit to Rome.

Vatican Museums

The Vatican Museums are undoubtedly a must-visit. You’ll find these hallowed halls housed in the holy Vatican City. Perhaps that’s why the works here are of such a godly nature – expect true masterpieces (Ever heard of the Sistine Chapel?) and a beauty so supreme it can’t even be tainted by the crowds of trampling tourists.

So much, we took the guided tour, yes very informative, but skimmed so much to fit within the time allowed, massive crowds, next time maybe we will just get entry to take the experience slower. but worth the visit whichever way it is done I am sure.

Expensive, and even more expensive if you take a tour and avoid the endless lines for tickets. Some of the world's greatest painting masterpieces are here. No bare shoulders or hemlines above the knees are allowed.

Probably important to preface this with: I'm not an art person. But I thought we couldn't miss the masterpieces contained here. Turns out, we could have. We went during closing hours for "fewer crowds" but still the sistine chapel was an unpleasant experience. They really try to shove as many people as possible into the place and I was having none of it. Once you go through to the other side of the partition it's much more enjoyable as they won't be barking at you to shove in shove in. It was just not worth it for us, even with a guided tour so we knew what we were seeing.

I visited the Vatican Museum here, not the Vatican itself.

I visited the Vatican Museum here, not the Vatican itself. The Museum has much incredible art, and I booked a walking tour. By the end of the tour (two hours later), I was understandably tired. Most of what I can remember consists of dusty, half-lit rooms, which didn't help. I was glad to get some fresh air. Be aware that, being close to the Vatican and the Piazza S. Pietro, this neighbourhood is a magnet for junk sellers and scammers. Be extra careful here. The police will do nothing about them.

I've been several times before, but my husband had not, so we booked a group guided tour with Viator. I can say that the Catholic Church has RUINED the Vatican museum and the Sistine Chapel with their greed by shoving 25,000-45,000 people per DAY through there with very little time to see anything!! It was NEVER like this before and I'm appalled that it's become so disgustingly greedy to do this! Our tour started at 2:45 and it was SO crowded and SO rushed that we literally had 3 minutes in the Sistine Chapel, which is at the end of the tour, before the nasty guards literally turned all of the lights off and shoved us out the door!!! Can't miss your 5 pm espresso apparently!!! We were literally crowded shoulder to shoulder with others throughout a great deal of the museum and the chapel!!!

Book skip the line or a tour of the museums, Sistine Chapel and Basillica as one tour, if you book sistene chapel and basillica as a tour you do not have to wait in the huge security line for the Basillica (although it is free if you choose the latter) .

The breakfast was wonderful, loved it! The staff were kind and helpful and graciously called taxis for us. The room was spacious with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. No complaints about the bed, very comfortable. Located in a quiet neighborhood which was nice. We choose this location because because we could walk from the hotel to Saint Peters Train station with all our luggage to travel to the cruise port for a Mediterranean cruise. It was also walk-able to St Peters Basilica and the Vatican museums.

Great view and location! It was quiet despite looking out into the piazza. A quick walk to St Peter’s, the Vatican Museums, and many delicious restaurants in Prati. The space was small but perfect for being out and about in the city.

Very nice and cute apartment. Available, always working and spacious elevator (for me was important). Apartment had all needed utensils, was very clean. Staff (Nicholas) always available and gentle. Great location, near the Vatican and Vatican Museums, short walking distance from Metro Ottaviano, and with lots of of choices for coffee shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Would come back any time!
