Avoid this area at this time. The streets are crowded and the beach is dirty. What the tourists are being charged, and over charged, is not being re invested in good practices. It was also close to all the main attractions - the Great Buddha as well as Hase-dera. The couple who runs the place are so sweet and my kid absolutely loved playing with the video games they had in the reception. The place is about 5-8 minutes from the Hase station and Hase is just 3 stations from the Kamakura line- all well connected. The Great Buddha is close by and so is the Hadedera Temple. The place is very clean and quiet. In the evening , I went down to the cafe bar and there were local customers whom you can talk to just to mingle into the local spirit.
