Plus, it’s just a short shuttle trip to Kamikochi. The views from the lounge and dining room are absolutely stunning. Dinner was quite an experience- so many unique small plates. It was fun to try so many different Japanese dishes. The room was cozy and traditional. The onsen was great especially having both indoor and outdoor options. In the room , there are slippers for just bathroom use, and emergency slippers in a bag just in case. Everything is new and clean. The breakfast buffet is tremendous deal and tasty.
