The location is very convenient to explore Kyoto by foot and by public transport. Nice restaurants and shopping district nearby. I found it to be very good value. The room was spacious with modern tasteful decor, a great shower and bath and a separate toilet. The room was very quiet, the mattress and pillow probably the most comfy I ever slept on in a hotel room. The all day drinks and pastries in the lobby were a nice bonus, it felt very welcoming to return to the hotel after a day of sightseeing.

Our room was at the 3F of the annex with a washing machine. Very spacious for our family of 4 (room is for 6 pax). Situated in a quiet neighborhood close to many attractions. Train station is around 0.5km away, may be difficult to walk (esp with luggages) if raining but if it isn't, it is ok.
