Everything was perfect. We only stayed one night but I would definitely recommend this hotel. The location is perfect, staff is friendly and helpful, good rooms, free toiletries and tea/coffee.

You cannot beat the location of this hotel - excellent for commuting in and out of Nagano, also very helpful staff at the reception. The room was really spacious and comfortable, we had a view over trains and spent several hours just mesmerized by it.;) Lots of amenities inside the bathroom, a lot of flyers and information regarding tourist attractions of Nagano can be found at the lobby. Highly recommend staying there if you are looking for place in Nagano.

    I enjoyed the traditional Japanese breakfast, but there was also western style breakfast available. There was a variety of food to be offered. My favorite was that the hotel had an onsen on the 11th floor. They also provided treats throughout the day and Ramen service at night. The location is less than 5 minutes walk to the Nagano station and right next door to 7-11.

    Room was spacious (double bed with sofa and desk). Breakfast was excellent, with fresh tempura being fried and lots of tasty Japanese dishes to try if you didn't want western. The apple juice was wonderful (a Nagano specialty). I loved the local greens (Nozawana). Being at one end of the Nagano Station was just so convenient for arrival and departure and meeting a tour. Our room was cleaned daily and amenities replenished without having to request a refill. The JR hotels are very comfortable and I look for them when booking!

    The hotel seems fairly similar to many budget hotels in Japan, but the staff are extraordinarily kind and courteous. It’s also great value for the price as you also get a good breakfast and free vending machine. The location is very easy to get to from Nagano station.

    We only stay one night in Tokyu Rei Hotel - Nagano before we heading to Kanazawa. The location is great near the Nagano station. The hotel are not so crowded, and very comfort for the bed. The Japanese style breakfast so vary. that's a good part of the hotel.

    The breakfast at this hotel was truly amazing. A huge buffet with all you can ask for, great coffee, and a very effective booking system that allows people to sit comfortably without waiting in line. We had a lovely view from our room, with snowy mountains. The WiFi worked perfectly. They have a free shuttle bus that goes to Nagano station hourly. There is also a snack bar filled with goodies you can enjoy depending on the deal you purchased. The hotel staff was as expected from a Japanese staff, nice and helpful.

    The hotel is close to Nagano station, about 5 minutes walk. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff very friendly, and the breakfast(Japanese style with some western dishes) simply amazing.
