Visit Japan in late march to Mid-April. The Shinjuku Gyeon National Garen alone is worth the trip. spectaculate Cherry Blossoms in white, light pink and dark pink. We spent a good four to five hours there vn though it was a little cloudy with small breaks of the sun.Mitter - 10Scored 10

Allow enough time to really enjoy this incredible park/gardens. We were fortunate to visit during cherry blossom time, but I can imagine one can see a variety of growth and blooms year-round. Definitely worth a trip when roses are in bloom. There are benches throughout the park for breathing in the fresh air and people watching. Note: There is a Starbucks located conveniently inside the park. There are restrooms next to Starbucks and also on the opposite side of the park along with vending machines with many beverage choices.StevenUnited States of America - 10Scored 10
You can come and go all day with your ticket so go early in...
You can come and go all day with your ticket so go early in the morning and make sure you swing back before close to get a totally different feel for the place. I went two days on my last holiday and I'll be going at least once next time. Hands down the best ¥500 I spent the whole trip.

I have great memories of visiting this place in mid-November 2019, with fall colours heightening the park's overall allure and aesthetics. It's a great place to relax and chill or explore its botanical exhibits, while away the afternoon before exploring the nightly wonders of Shinjuku's busy streets. Entry isn't free, but don't pass up exploring this place for a few yen. Absolutely loved this place!

Wonderful gardens.. if you go at the RIGHT time, it can be almost empty. Go at the wrong time.. Well, its like being on a Tokyo subway train at rush hour! But still, beautifully kept and the Japanese aesthetic is like no other...

After so much of walking in the city this park is sooooo...
After so much of walking in the city this park is sooooo beautiful and calm that you might just want to spend a few hours sitting doing nothing with a book and a bottle of drinks you buy from outside before entering the park. The views around are just breathtaking. There are quite a number of entrances so google the one nearest to you and you will safe a lot of time avoiding long walk in the city to reach the park. There's also a very big and interesting green house, so don't forget to visit it. It's already inclusive in the 500 yen park ticket.Chee MengMalaysia

Close to 1) the train stations, 2) Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, and the exciting nightlife of Shinjuku. We had five rooms that were located close to each other on the same floor. This enabled the grandchildren to mingle and the adults to meet and consult as we planned our daily activities. It was raining one morning, so we all decided to eat breakfast at the hotel... which turned out to be a good choice.
