Fantastic hotel; the rooms are a good size by Japanese standards with great facilities for cooking and doing laundry. The room size and facilities were especially good for us travelling as a young family, but would also be great for those travelling as a group who would like to pack lighter and have the option of doing semi/full self-catering. The location was great - 5 minute walk to the train/bus station with a lovely park opposite. There are loads of convenience stores, supermarkets and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk from the hotel so you can easily enjoy eating out or easily do self-catering. Kasai station is great for getting into Tokyo - approx 25 minutes to Ueno/Akihabara/Tokyo station and approx 45 - 60 minutes to Shinjuku and West Tokyo. Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Sealife Centre are a short bus ride away directly from Kasai bus station (next to train station). The staff at the hotel were lovely - they were always happy to help out. The staff have English language menus and instructions for those who don't speak Japanese and they were happy to try and translate on the fly for anything else. I speak Japanese, so it wasn't an issue for us but I noted when we arrived and they didn't realise I speak Japanese they made a lot of effort to make us feel welcome and informed in English before they realised we could switch to Japanese.

Room size is bigger than expected, location to disney is just 5 mins where the hotel provides free shuttle to train station, Disneyland and Disneysea every 20 mins though it is very walkable to those places. There is a convenience store at the lobby so you wont really need to worry about food and drinks.

    The most fun was taking photos with all of the visitors who had dressed up as their favourite character. It rained the entire day which put a 'damper' on things. The rides were a bit tame but the settings were amazing. As 50 year old kids we wouldn't return unless with our grandchildren.

    Skip Toy Story Mania. Ride Journey to the Center of the Earth, and Indiana Jones, and Raging Spirits. Indiana and Raging have single rider lines. Use those! Buy an express pass for Journey. Eat at Zambini Brothers and Cafe Portofino.
