Nice view and nice insta photo spots.

Nice view and nice insta photo spots. Tip 1: Take the 1st batch of the day. It will be little crowd and you can have plenty space and time to take photo. The staff will not chase you out. Tip 2: Alternatively, can choose between evening and spare about 2 hours to experience day view and night view.

The decision to do the galleria (combo) was somewhat difficult. To justify the additional cost, and after reading reviews that suggested buildings become blurry at that height. I can confirm that although impressive at 450 meters, it did not feel more special than at 350 meters. The definition of the city became diminished at that height. However, the separate elevator did add to the experience. If you are likely to get FOMO, just book the combo (if not, you will pay a premium there). If you cannot justify paying more than necessary to enter - take comfort knowing your aren't missing out on too much.

Tokyo Skytree has the highest observation decks in the city, but that is basically all. It can become very crowded and it is quite far from most interesting places. I enjoyed the outdoor observation platform of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower much more for example and other nice observation decks are even free.

Well worth a visit - day or night this place is perfect.

Well worth a visit - day or night this place is perfect. We went both in the morning, then came back at night to see Tōkyō in lights. Pay the extra cost for the 450m access - the views are spectacular. Keep an eye out for the lifts - we saw all 4, a beautiful touch to the experience.

Plan more time for this attraction - there is an exhibition area on the 5th floor with hi-tech and local exhibits and shops, there is also a nice food hall. Luckily I had time to mooch around and enjoy a lot of the parts of this building, not only the obligatory visit to the highest viewing point in Tokyo. As magnificent as this is (and there is a fine dining Japanese restaurant there that might be worth while your evening), I equally enjoyed exploring the other parts of the building, especially the DoCoMo show and the Sumida City special traditional crafts court.

    - Location was great in my opinion. Not too far from Sensoji Temple, Tokyo Skytree, and it's surroundings, but far enough to be away from ALL the crowd. - Staff members were helpful and attentive, especially the housekeeping. - There's atleast two train stations near the hotel, Kuramae sta (Oedo Line) and Asakusa sta (Asakusa line, Ginza line, etc). - Tons of convenience store and restaurants near the hotel.

Their customer service was great and the staff were always very helpful and welcoming. It was a welcome change from the staff less hotels we stayed in throughout our trip. Since they were so responsive and had such helpful tips on how to enjoy the surrounding area, it made us feel more at ease during our stay. Asakusa and the JR Ueno station were both a comfortable walking distance away, which was extremely convenient and saved us a few train stops. Also, the view of Tokyo Skytree as we walked through the streets was beautiful!

Everything was nice. Placed right next to the Tokyo skytree and beside the sumida river, the hostel is great. Asakusa station is also just 1 - 1.5 kms (walking) away.

We loved the location of the hotel, so much more quiet and less crowded than Shibuya/Shinjuku/Ginza. We loved the Sumida River nearby and the park surrounding it. We had a view of Tokyo Skytree! Staff was great too!

Location is great, 5’ walking distance to Asakusa station which technically could lead to anywhere in Tokyo. From that walk and from the hotel hall could basically see Tokyo Skytree and its magical light at night. Room is pretty small but hey, it’s Tokyo. Room is clean, toilet is comfy and DHC Amenities are just *chef kiss*

Everything! The view. The bed. The private shower/bath tub. Breakfast was good too. Buffet style but with Japanese twist like rice with option to top it with spicy cod roe or tuna mayo or green onions. And the views!! I know I already said that but you get good views: on one side, ueno park and another Tokyo Skytree. I got the sky tree and man oh man was it beautiful to look at!

Positioning of the hotel near Asakusabashi Station made it easy to get to after travelling back across the country from Hiroshima (shinkansen to Tokyo Station, then subway trains to Asakusabashi), and provided easy access to Asakusa temple district and the Tokyo Skytree & Imperial Palace areas. The breakfast had a generous amount of options with certain dishes changing each day, and having a sento (heated bath) option as part of the facilities is always welcome after a day of walking.
