This is a very beautiful resort in the middle of Medeu mountains away from the busy city of Almaty. - The views from the balconies are breathtaking. Make sure you wake up for the sunrise to enjoy it from your balcony. - The rooms are spacious and clean. - TVs are smart and have different apps, including YouTube. - They offer a shuttle to Medeu cable car. You can ask the reception to book the shuttle for you at the time of your convenience. - There's a bicycle rental service. - The affiliated restaurant (Auyl) is good and offers a wide variety of Kazakh dishes. - Breakfast dishes were good. The utensils are available in the first drawer under the TV. - There's a sauna in each room's bathroom. - The toiletries are of good quality.

The breakfast are really good! A lot of choices are there. Food is great that comes along with the good ambiance of the café that is just located in the lobby of the hotel. Location is really accessible and very convenient for us tourist. What we loved also about DAMI Hotel during our stay are the employees who really gave all their support and efforts to meet our needs. Special thanks to Eldos, who really shows and extended his support to us and to the 2 gentlemen staff from their café, morning and night shift. And to the other receptionist named Adil who also assisted us on the day of our arrival and did not leave us until we are settled even we arrived really late at night. And lastly to the lady in the reception who also helped us ordered our meal and have it delivered in our room. Big thanks to them. They made our stay extra special and worthy!

    Please make sure to take jacket, an umbrella and rain coats with yourself as the weather at the Combi 1, Combi 2 peaks can get rather cold and rains are very common. The rain coats are also available for purchase at the 1st stop btw at a very reasonable price. If you are not afraid of heights, i would recommend to take an open cable car for Combi 1, Combi 2. The experience in it is breath taking.

    Wear good thermal clothing that covers your ears and neck. It can get fairly cold and the wind can be chilly, so make sure to dress appropriately in warm clothing. If you plan to walk on the ice, wear proper shoes. Also, consider getting shades as the sun can be really bright.
