"Stayed a few nights in Xaysomboun Boutique hotel and I say it was worth the price! The staff was by far the friendliest and most helpful staff I've met in south east Asia! Absolutely love them! The room is quite big and stylish. Wifi is very fast which was great, breakfast absolutely delicious and the restaurant at the top floor where you also have the breakfast has a great view of the city which was pretty nice! They also have a swimming pool which I always use as it gets really hot during the day. they also have a gym and spa service so another plus! Location near to lots of landmarks so very convenient. overall, I enjoyed my stay here and definitely would stay here again! highly recommended 😀.."

Buddha Park
Main attractions at this cement extravaganza include a 40-metre-long reclining Buddha and a three-floored, demon-mouthed pumpkin structure supposedly depicting heaven, earth and hell. Built in 1958 by a rather idiosyncratic monk, the 200 statues of this famous sculpture park fuse Hindu and Buddhist gods, demons and animals in a unique and captivating brand of mysticism.
