You can even consider walking to Dambulla Cave Temples area , it took me 30 minutes from the hotel to the Temple Entrance. Sigiriya is just 30 minutes by bus , Polonnaruwa ruins is just 1.5 hours by bus from Dambulla centre. Even though it is close to the city centre, the property is in a forest full of tropical birds, fabulous. The room was spacious and clean.
