This place is absolutely incredible! From the moment I made the booking to the end of my stay, everything went smoothly and exceeded my expectations. Basil, the property manager, is truly outstanding — one of the kindest and most helpful people I’ve come across. This was a fantastic place to spend the last day and night before flying out of Sri Lanka. The room is spacious and quiet, the staff is super friendly, the pool is very enjoyable and last but not least the food is very tasty. I felt very well taken care of, with some extra mangoes for breakfast - my favorite fruit! - and a late check-out made possible so I could make use of my room until I had to leave for the airport. I can only recommend this place and will certainly be back if I come to Sri Lanka again.

We had a wonderful stay at Maria Villa. Janet made us feel right at home making our visit to Negombo nicer and welcoming. Our room was spacious and very clean; a nice size bathroom with hot water. The rooftop offers beautiful views of the area. Maria Villa is located on a quiet street within walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach. We would stay here again.

Really friendly staff, really clean room and bathroom. Bed was good, great shower, AC and WiFi. Good breakfast! Great location: beach, stores, restaurants and ATMs just a couple of minutes walk away. Also they have a great restaurant Centella Bistro just a 10min walk from hotel. I recommend you visit there also, we had great bruschetta and pizza!

The hostess was so friendly and lovely and took our hearts by storm. Always helpful, manages requests promptly. Always there but very discrete. The garden was the most peaceful and green space we’ve seen. Nicely decorated with plants, perfectly clean pool, nice sun-beads in with a view directly to the lagoon. They always put incense sticks to keep the mosquitos away. It smelled very nicely. Thank you very much for the unforgettable stay!🙏🏻
