Absolutely incredible experience - a quiet, nurturing, caring place just 5 minutes of the main road. We were treated like royalty by all staff of this amazing gem - Athreya Ashram. Everything you can imagine to be in a 5 star resort was here, but in a smaller, more personal way. Dr.Thilaxi recommended all the Ayurveda treatments we can benefit from. Super chef-cook Nuwan - made the best roti and curries and best spicy daal. We are sure to return and already miss our morning yoga practice and personalized local trips, arranged by Dr. and Fonseca. The room was very spacious, and the shower room was the biggest we had, the best shower in Sri Lanka. Shiron and the staff were very kind, helpful and humble. They helped with everything we needed. And the pool was a great bonus. About 20 minutes by tuktuk from Pindaragula rock which was beautiful on sunrise.

We loved the outdoor spaces, the pool and the jacuzzi as well as the food they offer! amazing place to stay if you're visiting Sigiriya and doing a safari tour. Manolo was very helpful and helped us get tuk tuk rides and made our stay very easy!
