You can sit under an umbrella and on lounge chairs as long as you purchase food from the restaurant. The food was adequate with the best-being hand-cut french fries. The water is a bit wavy but very good for swimming. There are lots of stairs so take your time going up and down. We spent two full days there. The place was very near Zicatela beach and there were lots of restaurants, massage places, beauty salons, minimarts, etc., on the same street. We just took a stroll on Zicatela beach because swimming is not recommended there.
