Fascinating and beautiful and free to seniors.

Fascinating and beautiful and free to seniors. The exterior and interior an amazing and fascinating contrast. Loved the murals especially - with the strong connection to Mexican politics and history - and American in the instance of the New YoRockefeller institute rejected/destroyed mural which Rivera repeated here..

Such an amazing and stunning example of glorious old world opulence. My second time to CDMX and have not been able to get tickets to an event here. Next time I come back to CDMX I will schedule it around a performance here. But just a tour around the building is great.

    An amazingly beautiful building.

An amazingly beautiful building. I don't know why they hang a tattered banner over the main entrance of such a majestic hall. It is an interesting location to sit and people watch and right next to Mexico City's oldest park. The palacio is featured with other Mexico City highlights in the opening of the OneRepublic music video for their song Kids.
