The location of the property is great, right in the hustle & bustle off china town, lots of restaurants close by to choose from, across the road are the chew jetties and the main strip is approx 5/10 walk. The rooms are modern & spacious, rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels and coffee refills. The hotel staff were so so lovely, they really do go above and beyond for you. We accidentally left our fire stick remote in our room during our stay and they were nice enough to post it to us! If I was to return to George town, I would definitely stay here again, it's a nice escape from the busy hustling bustling town.

The best staff in the world, attentive and kind but also self confident and funny. They made our stay amazing and made us feel at home. Very professional and genuine people. Keep it up!!! Fantastic local breakfasts served fresh to the table! The location is perfect, it’s walking distance to anything in Georgetown. The room was spotless clean, free unlimited water and little snacks is a nice touch. The hotel is small and very nicely decorated.

We had an amazing experience at the Light Hotel! We were traveling at Penang and decided to stay at this hotel for 10 days. The room was spacious for a family of four at their family room, towels were changed everyday, water bottles were replenished everyday, and the breakfast was fantastic! Kids can be very picky when it comes to food and I’m so glad that the food variety offered at the breakfast buffet able to fill my kids tummy! They have other services like a massage center (for moms to take a break from kids) and a small children playroom.

    Well-located in the city, basic standards in term of amenities meet my expectations, lots of parking spots nearby, aircond functioning and controllable (yes, this is important to me), hot/cold water easy to adjust (kinda wish the shower pressure a bit stronger).     -We were welcomed by the nice smell of roses at the lobby & upon entering the room. -Check in process was smooth. The staff were really friendly & helpful. -The room including the bathroom were clean. -Breakfast was great. There are variety of menu to choose & it taste great. -Location was strategic. Near the Sunway carnival mall & 8 minutes travel to Penang Central.
