great location on the outskirts of the village of den Haag. absolutely sustainable, electricity etc. is all produced in-house. there is a recycled shower in the bathroom. traveling by public transport is a bit tedious, as the hotel is on the outskirts of the village and it is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
the rooms were large and very clean. there are three large communal kitchens that you can use. there are also three large living rooms. the kitchen is well equipped. coffee, tea, cakes, fruit, water is free 24 hours a day. there is an outdoor pool, unfortunately the weather was not so warm.
Texel Suites offers accommodations in Oudeschild. The hotel offers a restaurant with sun terrace and views of the sea.

This place is UNREAL. The garden is so beautiful and peaceful. I love how it feels very secluded from the rest of the island but is just a short drive to some other great restaurants and the beach. The large tub in the room was wonderful for winding down at the end of the day. Bed was so comfy and the little window that looked out onto the field was so cute.
The Baron Crown, located in Den Helder a 15-minute walk from the beach, offers free Wi-Fi. The elegant rooms have a seating area with a flat-screen TV.

Beautifully restored in a quiet neighborhood setting. The room was lovely—like a Vermeer painting but with modern, clean amenities. We’d had a cold day visiting Texel and ended it at the Crown in a cozy bed with a hot cup of tea. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented—the service attentive and delightful. A highlight of our trip to the Netherlands. Highly recommend!
