Try to go early or late to avoid the crowds.
Try to go early or late to avoid the crowds. The museum allows people to take pictures of the pictures which makes it difficult for anyone else to appreciate the art. Otherwise, of course, Van Gogh is Van Gogh and always worth seeing and enjoying.

Make sure you book well in advance, many people were disappointed that the museum was booked out during their stay. It really is worth visiting. I would suggest late afternoon, in the hope that most people had been earlier as the morning was super busy and it was a bit hard to really appreciate a lot of the paintings due to numbers.

A lot to see and set out really good.
A lot to see and set out really good. We got the audio media but not really necessary as you can read in English the info of the audio pictures and the audio gives an impression of the paintings but I would rather form my own opinion. It really pays to book online as there were people trying to get a ticket and none were available for 3 days.

A must see.
A must see. Give yourself plenty of time and consider going first thing in the morning or near closing time to avoid the crowds. Much of the works a better when you have time to view them without a million others being right there.

If you are interested in art this is a must do. A very impressive and modern museum with wonderful pictures with audio so that you can hear about each painting. Visit will last a good 2 hours and outside there is a lovely walk through the park.

My second visit.
My second visit. It is a wonderful museum and fabulous to see all these paintings that are preserved and in one place. Very crowded and that makes it harder to go through at your leisure. Free with I Amsterdam card, but you must reserve a time slot in advance. Do this asap. I would suggest to go first thing in the morning to get through before it gets too crowded.

Great location next to the metro. Very convenient and easy to use. Doesn't take long to get to where you need to go. The Heineken Experience which was across town from us was only four stops away (10 minutes). From there the Rijks and Van Gogh Museums were a short walk away. The hotel is very nice and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was great although a bit pricey. There is parking which we used and it was convenient. Would recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam. We would definitely stay here again.
Front desk efficient and accommodating. Very close to Rijk and Van Gogh museums. Centrally located among excellent restaurants and high end shopping.
Second floor lounge and balcony were fabulous.
A cozy room sized at 24m2, comparing to the price, is a very good bargain. Variety of food in breakfast is good. Location wise, train from Schiphol airport to the nearest station (Amsterdam RAI) is only 15 minutes, and then a 5 minutes walking distance from the station to the hotel. Also , this hotel is only 4.5km away from the busiest spot of Amsterdam (DE 9 STRAATJES), this walk can pass through the best museums in Amsterdam (Van Gogh Museum and rijksmuseum).
The location is across the street from the van Gogh museum, and right on the tram line. We took the tram all over the city and it came back to our hotel. The room was on the small side but comfortable and adequate. I liked having a Nespresso coffee machine in the room. The breakfast was good and the lady who ran the breakfast room was especially nice and friendly.
This is a cute little boutique hotel in a quiet, super safe neighborhood inside the Museum Quarter. It is very close to the metro and the Van Gogh Museum, which was a huge plus for us. The interior design of the hotel is super cool, especially the lounge area. Also, the service is 5-star for sure. They helped us with every question about transportation, neighborhoods, and things to do around Amsterdam. The bed in the room was very comfy too, and the room itself was spacious and wonderful.
Our stay at Mosaic Hotel in Amsterdam presented a mixed bag of experiences. On a positive note, the hotel boasts an excellent location, comfortable restroom, conveniently within walking distance to key attractions such as restaurants, the van Gogh museum, and beautiful parks. The highlight was undoubtedly the room's balcony, offering picturesque views of the canal.
The Room was beautiful and the bathroom was super clean and nicely detailed and spaciously organized. The location was in the perfect spot for stepping outside and going for a walk passed the shops and some museums. It was a bit of a walk to the more southern part of Amsterdam where the Van Gogh museum was and all the other beautiful places were but overall the hotel was in a good spot. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed due to renovation so we didn't get to enjoy the food but im sure it would have been amazing!

The visit to the Van Gogh museum to see the work of one of my favorite artists
Observing the coordination of bikes, cycles, cars, buses, trams, pedestrians...it was all so interesting. The ride on the canal was beautiful...the structure of the city and how it all comes together. The visit to the Van Gogh museum to see the work of one of my favorite artists.
