We have visited Christchurch Botanical Gardens twice now on two different trips to the area. It is a very large garden with lots of beautiful plants to see and the river makes everything even more beautiful. There is a large car park available so look out for this. Despite the fact that there was an electronic music festival down the street that night, we did not hear any noise. Hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to the little river that runs through town down to the River Market area. Also close to the Botanical Gardens.
