We wanted some peace and quiet and this is exactly what we got: a lovely, spacious room away from the hustle and bustle. A terrace with a sea view. Comfortable beds. Friendly, professional staff. Unbeatable location. We felt very well taken care of and could have stayed longer, both at the W and in Muscat. Special thanks to Joel and Daniela for making our stay a fun one.

A beautiful hotel , with staff that will do anything for you . Omani people are just happy friendly people .Love the facilities especially the indoor pool with change rooms for men and women, and the gym is exceptional. Love the outdoor pool too.

I enjoyed everything about Al Falaj but what iimpressed me most was the high quality of all the staff.starting with the doorman Mr Shazam Kumar who was always ready with a smile on to help me. Then Miss Minoli who went above and beyond in order to assist me and finally Mr Jeyabal who was always there ready to help and assist me anyway to make my stay a memorable one. In fact they all made me feel at home and succeeded making my stay in beautiful Muscat an unforgettable experience.

A big souq where you can get souvenirs from your visit.

A big souq where you can get souvenirs from your visit. Always bargain to get good deals and don't believe the shopkeepers who claim that their goods are handmade. Otherwise, they are nice. You can go to the corniche for a nice walk and admire the fort as well as the Sultan's majestic yachts. And right opposite the Matrah fish market, there is a fish restaurant where you can choose your fresh fish to be grilled or fied.

Parking is a big hassle as the place is always crowded.

Parking is a big hassle as the place is always crowded. They close at noon 1PM and re open at 4PM. Trinkets, souvenirs, gifts, fragrant oils, local garments, antiques, traditional foods and fruits. A feast for the eyes. Dont miss the famed Omani Halwa (black colour)

Great hotel with a lovely swiming pool! Room was nice and big. Staff was great. Hotel is not far from the Mutrah Souq, but not close either. (30 minutes, around 2km by walk, but a bit along the highway)

The room was clean. Early check-in was possible during my stay as the room was ready. The staff were nice especially Mr. Saed at the reception counter who was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Love the coffee too. Restaurants, juice/coffee shops, grocery shops, laundry, mosque etc all are within the walking distance. You can walk to Oman Avenue Mall for about 15-20minutes but to go to Mutrah Souq, Corniche, Al-Alam Palace, and other touristic places a taxi ride is a must. So please prepare some cash with you.
