This was an absolutely beautiful hotel with charming touches throughout. Our room was spacious and the view from the balcony was amazing. We had coffee in the morning on the balcony. Breakfast was delicious. Staff throughout the hotel were attentive and wonderful (special mention to Jesus and Gerrardo and Yazit and other staff at the restaurant). The whole area of Casco Viejo is beautiful and the hotel is perfectly located for strolls all through the day. An absolutely beautiful hotel. We loved our stay!

I had an incredible experience at Viajero Hostel in Panama City. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and supported. When I lost my earphones, they not only found them but also kept in touch with me the entire time to make sure I got them back—something that really shows how much they care about their guests. The team was always there for me whenever I needed help, and their kindness made my stay truly special. A special thank you to Kami, who was always so helpful and attentive. She really made a difference in my stay. The hostel itself is amazing: the dorms are clean and comfortable, the activities are fun and social, and the atmosphere is perfect for meeting new people. I can’t recommend Viajero enough—it’s much more than just a place to stay, it’s a place where you feel cared for.

    Get there in the morning before it gets too hot. The views from the top are great!! Panama Canal on one side and the financial district/Old Panama on the other. Unfortunately, we didn't see any wild life, but it was a nice 30 minute hike.

    Best way to get there is by taxi as there as no public transport in the area. Free to walk up. There is a replica colonial town at the foot of the hill which costs $3 to look round and includes a guide if you want one.

    Nice buffet breakfast in Canal Bistro located in the lobby. Crowded but with plenty room. The hotel is attached to Albrook Mall, so commuting is easy. The room I was assigned had a nice view to Ancon Hill where a huge Panama flag is waving.

    The location is great in the middle of downtown, and short distance to Casco Viejo, Panama Viejo and Ancon Hill. The staff are very helpful. The downside is the bathroom is tighter than comfortable. There is no nightstand in the bedroom. The facility is pretty basic and there is no fitness room or laundromat.
