Beautiful.
Beautiful. The best way to go is to use the boat from the centre of town. A lovely trip down the river and cheap too! The island was hot hot hot when we were there. Make sure you take all you need for the trip to the beach as there are only a few bars / restaurants. The views from the upstairs lounge are amazing - gorgeous sunsets. It was easy to walk into Tavira for dinner or to catch the ferry to Tavira Island.

The one on the night shift is especially kind. The hotel is close to the river and port, so it's a short walk to catch the boat to Tavira Island. There is a big supermarket close to the hotel, which revealed to be a bonus. The "movida" of Tavira is close to the hotel, like walking distance close.
