the hotel is right across the marina. plenty of the food on the other marina. hotel offers free parking in the basement level. very clean . good breakfast .

Such a chic small boutique hotel with a great location close to Lagos city center and Marina, which makes it good for a bit of walking when you feel like it. A car is a must though to enjoy this region.. Hotel breakfast, rooms and everything was simply perfect. Reception and restaurant staff were nothing less than perfect, despite the one restaurant waiter exception, who had a really bad attitude, or maybe a language barrier, who knows! Listen to the reception ladies recommendations without thinking, all suggestions by Mariana and Nadia were spot on. Definitely recommend staying at Avenida if in Lagos. P.S. Loved the filter coffee in a mug concept they had in the room. It's filter coffee without a machine!

The staff was very kind, caring and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is exceptionally clean and comfortable. A wonderful boutique experience.

Location: It was centrally located. It was near everything, but in a part that was still quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. everything was within a 5-10 minute walk. Hospitality: Top notch. Christopher at the front was welcoming & informative. Making the check-in process a breeze and showing us around. Karim was the usual bar-tender/server during the day and made amazing cocktails, remembered our drink/food orders and overall incredibly hospitable. Wait staff during our 2 night stay at the restaurant for dinner, were also incredible. Friendly & attentive. Room: Bed was large, allowing my very tall husband and I to sleep comfortably and without disturbing one another, We had a view of the small square in the front of the hotel which was also pleasant. Bathroom was spacious and beautifully done with a large rain shower head. Once again, a plus for my husband who generally has a hard time in Europe due to everything being "small" and/or "short". Restaurant/Food: By far the best food we had was at the restaurant. We went to a couple of other places and were not impressed with the quality in anyway (with the exception of one coffee place). Chef curated menu was brilliant. Breakfast, dinner & desserts were expertly cooked/prepared with attention to detail and taste. It was a treat to try their food and clearly a love for fine cuisine was felt in each dish we had the pleasure of trying. Amenities: Roof top pool was a nice plus for our stay, we had 1 full day and it was cloudy and a bit chilly. The slightly heated pool was perfect. We will definitely visit again. I wish I was able to take more pictures, but relaxation was the key this stay.
