We did this palace as the last one, which made it a bit...
We did this palace as the last one, which made it a bit boring. It is less stonning than e.g. the pena palace, yet worth seeing. I would advise to start with this palace and as such build up to the extravagance of the pena palace and monserrate.

Our party felt the rooms were larger than we expected and comfortable. It was a close walk to Sintra National Palace and in that regard, conveniently located. We especially loved the breakfast service and were delighted to see a peacock on the grounds pass by our window as we had our meal. The staff was very helpful in arranging our transport to Humberto Delgado Airport early in the morning and it made our trip much smoother.

The host met us to hand over the keys. Checking in and out went smoothly. Prompt response communicating via Booking.com chat. The living area is quite spacious with high ceilings and equipped with washer/dryer. I would recommend to anyone who's visiting Sintra for the first time since it is centrally located and very easy to get around the village. There are many restaurants nearby.

In particular she recommended Raiz Sintra, about a fifteen minute walk away. This location is a great spot for visiting nearby Pena Palace, The Moorish Castle, Quinta da Regaleira and closest of all, Sintra National Palace. The room had a lovely view of the Sintra area, especially at night. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if we were ever back in Sintra.MWS928United States of America
