Wonderfully preserved town.
Wonderfully preserved town. We stayed the night at a lodging inside the walls, and the place is magical at night and early before tourists come. Restaurants are fun and elegant or casual, and the chocolate shops are a must-try. The marshmallow chocolate eggs are incredible. It’s 15 minutes drive from Obidos Castle & 15 minutes to the beautiful beaches. The local cafe was a few steps away and we enjoyed a coffee there every morning. The best part are the owners, Roger and Nazare. They are the very best example of what you hear about the kindness, and giving spirit of the Portuguese people. It's only a short two minute walk to get inside. The apartment is very clean and modern, with everything you may need.
