Beautiful scenery and rock formations. I like it better than other places that I visited in Mexico and Caribbean. Lagos was my most favorite place in Algarve. I like it better than Portimao, Albufeira (a party town) and Faro.
Nice beach. Reasonably quiet at most times Was ruined on New Year’s Day due to three young lads who decided to bring a big speaker to the beach and share their techno music with others whether we wanted to or not
Fantastic beach... so beautiful I just didn't like the services of the bar. The staff doesn't know how to deal with customers. The food is great but, the service is really bad. There aren't friendly or the way they work ; is not professional enough to serve so many tourists who is paying for drinks and food. I personally didn't like it the way they welcoming the the beach bar.
This was one of the most beautiful beaches in the world but unfortunately, the city council ruined it. now it's even more crowded with tourists, this beach can be dangerous due to rock fall the water is colder here and you have to be careful walking due to sharp shells.
Go early morning and when it's low tide you can go over the rock wall into Pinhao beach and then go all the way to Batata beach through amazing caves. Take boat trip from Dona Ana to Ponta da Piedade when the sea is calm and they ll take you inside caves and grottoes. They take just 2 people or small group and talk you through it.
Beautiful beach really relaxing,spotlessly clean there's only one beach bar/restaurant that gets very busy so I would recommend bringing drinks snacks with you as there aren't any shops around the beach, it's accessed by steep stairs

The location of the apartment is absolutely fabulous. It takes exactly 2 minutes to reach the Dona Ana beach, you just go out of the building and down the stairs and you're there. The apartment is big and has a nice balcony with a nice view, it is well equipped, although a bit old when it comes to the e.g. kitchen furniture. The hosts are incredibly nice and have really good tips for your stay in Lagos. We would definitely return to Superb Apartment if we go back to Lagos.

Great location near Dona Ana Beach. Nice spacious clean apartment with balcony and sea view. Beautiful garden and heated pool. This is not a package tour resort which is what we liked the most. Takes about 15-20 minutes to walk into town at night, but route is well lit and safe. Lovely walks in the afternoon along the boardwalk from Punta Piedade

Modern, clean and quiet apartment in a block right by Dona Ana beach. Lots of street parking available just outside. Short drive to Ponta da Piedade and into the old town area. The reception is located at a nearby complex - this wasn't made very clear on booking, but staff there were very helpful and friendly once we found them :)

The garden with tropical flowers and fountains around the pool is really beautiful. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to the Dona Ana beach and 15 minutes to Camilo beach with a great seafood restaurant. The room was very clean and the property is well maintained. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Big and comfy room. Staff very polite and friendly. The hostel is located in the heart of Lagos. Close to the bars/restaurants and 5 min drive from the most beautiful beaches ( abt 6 EUR by UBER to Camilo / Dona Ana beach ) Very safe area
