Study the metro map before you travel it is super simple as it goes round in a circle but make sure you note down the stations in Russian because no one speaks English and no one in the public is willing to help.
It was beautiful and interesting, but you don't need a whole day to see it. My husband and I finished it in about 2 to 3 hours and that was with reading all of the historical information inside all the different cathedrals.
Pre book your ticket as the queue was long and although we still had to exchange an e-voucher for a ticket it saved time. Be sure to get somewhere to tell you where the entrance to the Kremlin is as loads of us were wandering about in all directions. The employees kept sending us in different directions to then be sent back the same way. It was frustrating for all nationalities.
If you want to visit Armory and the Diamond Fund, buy one of the tickets in the ticket office queue, but you don't have to go back to buy the other one there (the ticket counters are separate), between and at the entrance of the Armory and Diamond Fund there is a counter. To sell these tickets, so if you bought one outside, buy the other inside and totally NO lines.
Buy a ticket on the official Kremlin website. You will get a voucher which you can exchange on the day of the visit at the ticket centre. You will wait in a queue to exchange the voucher for maybe 10-15 minutes as opposed to (possibly?) hours waiting to buy a ticket on site. Inside the Kremlin itself there is not that much to see. There are a few old cathedrals - it will take you 15 mins to see each of them. The Armoury is nice, but also relatively small. It will take you about 1 hour to see it. The exteriors of the Kremlin will take you about another 1 hour to browse. Even though there is not that much to see overall, I would still recomend you to visit the Kremlin, as the things you can see are nice + it is an important historical location (+ there is not that much more to see in Moscow...).
We paid all inclusive ticket for RUB 700 and we were allowed to go into 3 churches and garden however 2 churches were closed and garden been just closed for security purposes without explaining more. If you wold only pay RUB 250 for gareden access you would see exactly the same.
Metro, train and bus station nearby. The hotel arranged transportation from the airport. We are very pleased with the kindness of an english-speaking driver so we invited him to take us to the airport. Staff willing to help but without knowledge of any other language than Russian. Sometimes is very fun and makes you learn a few Russian words ...with the help of google translator. I absolutely recommend walking to the Red Square and around the Kremlin. And back also :-)
Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Central location - a pleasant ten minutes walk to the Kremlin. Two lovely patisseries just up the street on the corner, popular fast food chains also on the same street. Half the prices of the same food in Europe. This hotel is basically a lovely B&B located a few floors up in a central Moscow street building. A very authentic sight into Moscovian life!
The hotel was clean, tidy, very friendly staff. The breakfast was good with a good selection for different tastes. The big attraction is it's location. For walkers, like me it is easy to get to the Kremlin etc. Also it is only 2 or 3 subway stops to be fairly close to the Kremlin etc. It is also right next door to the Kievskaya train station which has the Express train to Vnukovo airport.
A safe, clean, quiet, and convenient hotel within a five minute walk from Partizanskaya metro station. There is a grocery store and 2 mini malls close by too. The restaurants are excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is also a huge market on Saturdays and Sundays in the Kremlin area behind the hotel. I'd stay there again for sure.
Everything. The stuff were friendly and very helpful. The location is the best in Kremlin area, it's face the Kremlin and close to everything. I highly recommend this hotel for everyone and I will book in this hotel when I come back to Moscow. 👍
Awesome location! Just a few blocks from the Kremlin. Apartment was clean and comfortable.
