Visit really early in the morning for Anse Source d'Argent - it makes all the difference! Water is so much more clear, there are more fishes and more active up to 9 - 10 a.m. Also while there give the nougat coco a try at the souvenir shop right by the entrance.
Nice place to look around and see vanilla plantation, coconut products and how they are made (visit Rapunzel at her stall to get all the inside info on everything there!), great little art gallery and entrance to the famous beach...Anse Source d'Argent
Stay in L'Union Beach Chalets so you can visit La Source D'Argent before the estate opens - having the beach to yourself is wonderful. Be wary of some of the sellers in the estate overcharging for tourist souvenirs.
All sorts of lovely things to see inside the estate. Plantations of various fruits, vegetables and vanilla, amazing palm trees, giant tortoises and the best beach on the entire island. Well worth the entrance fee.
All the park and the beach is fine but not superb. I suppose the beach is great with children and to experiment with snorkelling, as the water is not too deap and quite calm compared to other beaches (we visited in July). The plantations are very pretty, but the whole park could use some information boards.
The walk throughthe Park was very enjoyable. There is a vanilla plantation and giant tortoises. The Anse Source d’Argent is breathtaking and like nowhere else on earth. Well worth the rps115 entrance fee
