Hotel is located in a very central location in the city, with convenient access to public transport, and within walking distance to all nearby sights. Also, there’s a mall right next door complete with a supermarket - super convenient. Breakfast spread was nice and seating was sufficient. I am most impressed however, with the Fairmont staff. Everyone was smiley and friendly! We actually met with an incident where my kid left his bag pack on the taxi (terrible, i know), and we didn’t even know the taxi car plate. Faizal from security went to the trouble of going through the CCTV tapes of us boarding the taxi and managed to identify and facilitate the return of the bag pack. We are very thankful for what he did! Certainly five-star standard for sure!! We had a very pleasant experience at the Fairmont and will be sure to return when we are back (and not lose anything this time!)

Great property in an unbeatable location! It's close to several MRT stations, with one exit literally a few steps away from the front entrance of the hotel. The property is right in the heart of Chinatown, with the famous Maxwell Hawker Centre just a few minutes' walk away. There are also numerous restaurants, shops, a traditional market right on your doorstep and a mall all just a leisurely stroll away. The room I stayed in was small but had all basic amenities covered, the bed was nice and comfy, the shower was hot and strong, the aircon was quiet and cold, and the room itself was impeccably clean! My room was also very quiet, even despite the hustle bustle outside, and there were also black-out curtains over the windows. Most wonderful of all are the staff, particularly Mary, Maica, Yani and Lily. They were friendly, helpful, proactive, and always ready to provide assistance. In fact, they got in touch with me before I even reached Singapore! Heritage Collection is now definitely my top choice for the next time I go back to Singapore!
