This is a nice place to take a stroll in the evening. Beware : you won't likely to find Singaporean foods here. We took a rickshaw ride around the place for $30, it was really nice. You can also took a boat ride here, we didn't take it, though, because the queue was quite long.
This area is great, for us Clarke Quay was the best, from great places to eat with so many culinary choices to fun places to grab some drinks afterwards, a real social hub, everything from quiet bars to live music and such a choice of food, thoroughly recommended
Not the greatest representation of what Singapore can offer in terms of food value, variety or authenticity. Walk just a short distance north to River Valley Rd, south to Chinatown or even up-river to Zion Riverside food stalls or Great World City shopping centre for much better value and still tourist-friendly eats.
